Is there any maintenance or re-calibration required?

The HAUL WEIGH Onboard Scale is built for long-term durability and requires no regular maintenance. Once calibrated, the system holds its accuracy without the need for frequent adjustments.

For optimal performance, we recommend re-calibrating the system every 6 months. Re-calibration is also essential any time repairs or modifications are made to the truck’s air suspension or leveling system. This ensures continued accuracy and reliable weight readings.

Do the readings appear in KG or LB?

The HAUL WEIGH system can display weight readings in either kilograms (KG) or pounds (LB), depending on your preference. Units can be easily selected during setup or changed at any time through the device settings.

How do HAUL WEIGH truck scales work?

HAUL WEIGH Onboard Scales operate by measuring pressure changes in the truck’s air suspension system. Built-in sensors detect these pressure variations and send the data to an internal microcontroller, which processes and converts it into accurate weight readings.

The system provides real-time weight monitoring with an accuracy of 0.5 to 1% of your truck’s total capacity. Drivers can view axle group weights directly from the truck cabin or within Bluetooth range, allowing for better load management and compliance without needing external weighbridges.

Does altitude and temperature affect the accuracy of the readings?

Altitude does not affect the accuracy of the HAUL WEIGH system. However, for optimal performance, it must be operated within the specified temperature range. Extreme temperatures outside these limits may impact sensor behavior and overall accuracy.
